05/11/2026

Fall 2026 registration is open for all new and returning students at Hillsborough College. Registration is available at hcfl.edu/registernow for existing students. Registration and application information for new students can be found at hcfl.edu/admissions.

HC offers flexible class schedules and course delivery options, allowing students to study at their own pace without compromising their work or family obligations. Options include:

  • On campus, with face-to-face instruction and scheduled class meetings at one of the College’s five campuses or satellite locations.
  • Hybrid courses that combine in-person and online delivery.
  • Simulcast courses that combine online video conferencing with an on-campus component.
  • Online courses with live class meetings. Faculty and students meet online in real time, with additional coursework completed independently.
  • Online courses with no mandatory live class meetings. Instructor communication and feedback are provided through Canvas.
  • Flexible start courses that start at various times throughout the semester, including eight-week, six-week and five-week sessions.

Tuition at HC is significantly less than the cost of public universities, private colleges and for-profit institutions. In 2022, HC was recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, National Center for Education Statistics, Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS), as the only Florida college with the lowest net price among U.S. two-year public institutions.
