Hillsborough Community College Welcomes Dr. Nicole Jagusztyn as Vice President of Strategic Planning and Analysis

Tampa, Fla. – Hillsborough Community College (HCC) is pleased to announce the promotion of Dr. Nicole Jagusztyn to vice president of strategic planning and analysis for the college. 

Dr. Jagusztyn has been with HCC since 2009 serving in various leadership roles including interim vice president. She brings 15 years of experience in higher education research and analytics. 

We are excited to welcome Dr. Jagusztyn to the senior leadership team as she leads the Strategic Planning & Analysis team,” said Dr. Ken Atwater, HCC president. “She will continue to play an important role advancing critical department and college-wide initiatives.” 

Previously, as the director of Information Management and Reporting, Jagusztyn served as the college state reporting coordinator, managed the college business intelligence system and oversaw the college-wide data request process. Her major accomplishments have included designing and implementing the college’s business intelligence system and creating and managing the college’s auto-graduation process, which led to over 18,000 additional graduate completions. 

Dr. Jagusztyn holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Florida, as well as a Master of Arts and a Doctorate in industrial-organizational psychology from the University of South Florida. Additionally, she holds a certificate in project management from HCC. She has participated in numerous publications, presentations and has actively volunteered in many HCC and Hillsborough County committees.
