(TAMPA, Fla.) Seventeen Hillsborough Community College student athletes were selected to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) 2022-23 Academic First, Second and Third Teams. These individuals garnered recognition by achieving a GPA of 3.6 or higher.
All-Academic First Team:

- Arina Gamretkaia (Tennis)
- Svenja Rodenbuesch (Volleyball)
- Pia Mohr (Volleyball)
All-Academic Third Team:
- Mark Brown (Men’s Basketball)
- Jayla Daoust (Softball)
- Kaylee Hernandez (Softball)
- Havyn Kiser (Softball)
- Amber Rodriguez (Softball)
- Rocio Martinez Azcarraga (Tennis)
For criteria, student athletes eligible for selection for the NJCAA All-Academic First Team achieved a 4.00 GPA. Those recognized on the Second Team achieved a 3.80-3.99 GPA, and the Third Team honorees achieved a 3.60-3.79 GPA.
