Hillsborough Community College Prepared To Help Transition Argosy University Students

March 8, 2019

Tampa, FL

In the wake of the closure of Argosy University’s Tampa Campus, Hillsborough Community College has announced that they are prepared to assist students to successfully transition from Argosy into other programs at HCC.

“This is another unfortunate closure affecting students, faculty and staff through no fault of their own,” according to HCC president Dr. Ken Atwater. “HCC once again stands ready to assist them and ensure that they can move quickly into a program that leads to a marketable credential.”

HCC will be closed for Spring Break March 11-17 and will reopen on Monday, March 18.  Argosy students can receive assistance from the Student Services teams at the Dale Mabry and Ybor City Campuses which include representatives from Advising, Financial Aid, Transcript Evaluation, Counseling and other support services. Argosy students are encouraged to bring copies of their transcripts in addition to course syllabi from any courses that they may have been enrolled in.  Support will be available Monday – Tuesday, 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., and Wednesday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Hillsborough Community College serves over 45,000 students annually at its five campuses located throughout Tampa Bay. The college is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. For more information, visit hccfl.edu.
