HCC’s Gallery 221 Hosts Mark Thomas Gibson Lecture

Hillsborough Community College’s Gallery 221 at the Dale Mabry Campus will host a guest lecture with celebrated African American artist Mark Thomas Gibson on Thursday, March 22. A general reception will be held from 5:00-7:30 p.m., with the lecture scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. The event will take place in the Learning Resources Center auditorium, Room 106.

Mark Thomas Gibson is a New York-based artist and full-time lecturer at Yale School of Art. Gibson received his B.F.A. from The Cooper Union and his M.F.A. from Yale School of Art in Painting & Printmaking, where he received the Ely Harwood Schless Memorial Fund Award. Gibson has exhibited both nationally and internationally. 

All programs are free and open to the public and are made possible in part by the support of HCC student activities/service fees and the Student Government Association.

The Dale Mabry Campus is located at 4001 W. Tampa Bay Blvd.
