HCC In the News: Black, Brown and College Bound Media Coverage: WTSP

The 10th anniversary Black, Brown & College Bound: A Decade of Advocacy & Solutions for Black & Latino Males in Higher Education took place on February 18th – 21st at the Downtown Hilton. General Colin L. Powell, USA (Ret.) was this year’s keynote speaker. Additional Speakers included: Jose Antonio Vargas, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and filmmaker;  Hill Harper, award-winning actor, best-selling author and philanthropist; Dr. Damon Williams, Senior Vice President for Program, Training, and Youth Development Services for Boys & Girls Clubs of America; Dr. Luis Ponjuan, Texas A&M University Associate Professor; Derrick Brooks,1995 Tampa Bay Buccaneers first round NFL draft  pick and Ed "Too Tall" Jones, 1974 first overall draft pick of the Dallas Cowboys.
