HCC's Restaurant Management Program Ranked #1 Nationally

The restaurant management program at Hillsborough Community College (HCC) has achieved national recognition as the #1 ranked restaurant management program in the country for two-year colleges.  The 2017 rankings, conducted by the Community for Accredited Online Schools, a leading resource for both campus and online learning information, lists top restaurant management programs from across the country for both four-year and two-year colleges. 

“We are honored to have the restaurant management program recognized and to showcase our exceptional faculty, staff and students,” stated Elizabeth Johnson, dean of the associate in science degree programs at the Dale Mabry Campus. 

Students enrolled in the restaurant management program can earn an associate in science degree in restaurant management. 

Overall, more than 300 students are enrolled in the hospitality department programs comprised of restaurant management, culinary management and hospitality and tourism management. The programs are housed at the Dale Mabry Campus. 

Hillsborough Community College serves over 45,000 students annually at its five campuses located throughout Tampa Bay.  The college is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.
