Hillsborough Community College’s Gallery 221 at the Dale Mabry Campus is pleased to present Bassmi Ibrahim: The Isness of Being, exhibiting from March 26 through May 4. A gallery reception will be held on March 29, from 5:00-8:00 p.m., with an artist lecture taking place at 6:00 p.m.

The exhibit examines a wide range of work from his ongoing series titled Isness. His luminous paintings are meant to serve as windows to an inner plateau of the self where viewers can find their own undiscovered dimensions and experience a meditative state of being.

All programs are free and open to the public and are made possible in part by the support of HCC student activities/service fees and the Student Government Association.

The Dale Mabry Campus is located at 4001 W. Tampa Bay Blvd.  Gallery 221 is located on the second floor of the Learning Resources Center (DLRC).
