Hillsborough Community College’s Ybor City School of Visual and Performing Arts Gallery presents Chronicles on Native Soil, a solo exhibition by artist and photographer, Barton L. Gilmore. The exhibit will run from November 9th - December 7th with an artist reception on November 9th from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Professor and faculty in charge of the photography department at St. Petersburg College in Clearwater, Barton Gilmore presents a series of his recent mixed-media assemblages and related digital photographs. Utilizing manufactured and metaphorical symbols from organic and functional materials, these assemblages corroborate with photographs, both functioning as serendipitous documentations and filtered interpretations about the significance of lifelong lessons.
